Our History
Since its inception in 1997, Motheo Construction Group have been proactively implementing skills development in communities and supporting, mentoring emerging contractors.
Dr. Thandi Ndlovu was a passionate advocate for transformation in the Nation, she led from the front and created a myriad of opportunities for black businesses, especially for women operating within the built environment. It was Dr T’s dream to change the landscape of the built environment in the new South Africa by lifting the status quo of the industry, advocating for unbiased participation and striving for black excellence. The Motheo Academy was established under Dr T’s patronage, with her vision and dream as its core mandate to see the built environment transformed. Today, the Motheo Academy continues to drive Dr T’s vision.

GEOFFREY KEMPER
Director
Geoff is a passionate leader who has been active in the training industry, trying to empower the youth of our country. His vision is to ensure all South Africans have a chance to make something of their lives. He is a leader that wants to see everyone live equal lives. Geoff is a great communicator and can make any person he speaks with feel secure and safe.
RAJEE CHAITHOO
ETQA & Operations Manager
Rajee has spent many years in the training industry working closely with learners to ensure they have a comfortable experience in the workplace. She also ensures the business environment is supportive and efficient. Her quality control and management skills are enough to ensure Geoff’s mission is achieved.
TERRANCE ALEXANDER
Project Manager
Terrance is the man you speak to for any of your concerns. He is patient and an excellent listener who ensures any issues learners have are resolved. You will meet him during your training sessions and don’t feel shy to communicate with him, his friendly smile is real.
BUSI SITHOLE
Training Administrator
Busi is a prime example of all that matters is your attitude. Starting in a modest position she worked her way up by proving her capabilities and skills. She works tirelessly to uphold the work ethic she possessed to get this far and she is a valuable partner for the learners.
DINEO MABOE
ETQA Coordinator
Dineo is our youngest member, don’t let that fool you, she is not afraid to take charge. Although her work is exceptional, her perseverance and determination is what validates her position in this business. She is there for all matters relating to qualifications, courses and main liaison with SETAs.
